Today I was a one of a group of speakers at a breakfast sponsored by the City Garden's Club at the Colony Club, an exclusive Upper East Side Women's Club. The topic Urban Agriculture. The other panelists were Amy Gavaris from New York Restoration Project, Paul Mankiewicz of the Gaia Institute, and Annie Novak of Growing Chefs.
The talks included images of New York Restoration Gardens, and Rooftop gardens and Green Roof's and possible future directions in Urban Agriculture and Green Spaces, vertical green walls, stormwater capture and school garden projects.
